Sonberk is a mid-sized winery that ranks among the best in the Czech Republic. The winery is producing modern and high quality wines and their quality has been acknowledged on domestics as well as international markets. The key varieties and their flagship wines are Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and mainly local indigenous variety called Palava.
The winery is considered by many one of the best in the Czech Republic producing elegant and noble wines and in fact is a holder of the official title the Winery of the Year (2012).
In comparison with the others it is rather a smaller or better to put “a mid-sized” winery, but one that focuses on high quality and also a unique character of their wines that all come from a vineyard of the same name SONBERK.
